This was a beautiful old cathedral, still in good condition and amazingly survived mostly unscathed through Henry’s purges.

A handheld HDR image processed in Photomatix from 3 images at +/-2 stops, then post-processed in Lightroom and Nik Viveza and Sharpener.

Taken at Durham Cathedral on a recent trip to the north of England.  I thought the textures of the old metal and wooden door looked fantastic.  Adjusted in Lightroom3 and tweaked in Topaz Adjust to bring out the detail and add extra contrast.
