I took this handheld HDR while ion holiday in Skopelos recently. The light was quite low, right at the edge of what I could safely handle without a tripod. Because there was a certain lack of sharpness I decided to go for a more dreamy look, which for me conjured up fond memories.

Italy is my favourite country to visit and Florence one of my favourite cities.  The Ponte Vecchio has such a rich history, the only surviving bridge over the Arno from the time of Florence’s glory days, and the only survivor of WWII.

With summer on the way in the northern hemisphere and holidays on a lot of people’s minds, I thought I’d throw this image out there to get everyone in the mood.
